With the release of American rapper, singer and songwriter Juice WRLD’s debut album “Goodbye and Good Riddance”, they youngster’s acclaimed work has become one of the top selling albums in the US. And for good reasons—one of which is the track “Lucid Dreams”.

Given that the album is an overall success on which the Chicago rapper processes a nasty breakup by plunging into the depths of his grief and regret, then his lashing out on “Lucid Dreams” makes perfect sense and even very impressive.

Juice WRLD whose real name is Jarad Higgins, shot into the limelight, thanks to his smashing breakout hit singles “All Girls Are the Same” and “Lucid Dreams”, both of which found their way to his major-label debut.

But the hurt we felt on “Lucid Dreams” as Juice WRLD lashes out “I was tangled up in your drastic ways/Who knew evil girls have the prettiest face?” and moans “I still see your shadows in my room” and “I thought you were the one” later fades off on tracks like “Candles” and “Hurt Me” before finally disappearing on the last track on the album, “I’ll be fine” as he sang: “Too busy making money to worry ’bout making memories”.
